Screenshots turn black during export to both Appstoreconnect or local

I want to sync the groups layout but keep the frame for that specific group. If I am creating screenshots for 6.5" screenshots and then want to put that layout into my 5.5" screenshots I still get the 6.5" frame which will get rejected from the app store

There should be an option to set the font line height.

Gallery of shapes (circles, arrows, lines, etc..) that can be integrated in one click. Other screenshots builders has this feature and it's handy.

Is there any form of tutorial available? Like, how to connect the app to app store for uploading? And step by step working through a project?

Currently, when importing SVG in Picasso, the export show a blurred version of the SVG.

My first two screenshots include a single image of my app that extends between them (see attachment). I have several localizations of my Product Pages, however when I try to change this image for a specific localization, it applies this image to _all_ of them. My app is a budgeting app, and the localizations show the screenshots in the countries local currencies - the fact that this big, bold image can't be localized is a pretty big issue for this reason.

I'd like to be able to use Picasso to create my in-app event required artwork. I don't know how to name that but just see the image. Some kind of style the background of a word. Like add a background rectangle (rotated) to a word.

Many of us are freelancers who work for different clients and different projects. Currently it seems that Picasso only allows me to link to only one App Store Connect account forcing me to setup a new link whenever working on a different project. The linking process is a bit cumbersome in App Store Connect.

Without needing to create a second layer allow editing the formatting on part of the text

Add more templates for macOS apps

This allows quick look to work on the Mac, as well as showing a preview of the file in the filesystem instead of the file icon.

When you select a component in the editor of a single screen/image, for example, that 'Text' component, then right-click it and click on the 'Delete' button in the menu, it causes the entire Picasso app to crash & close.

Exporting to App Store Connect appears successful, but in ASC all screenshots are marked as "Wrong dimensions" in red. Exporting to file system renders weird artefacts on top of screenshots—some sort of light semi-transparent tint over entire image. Basically, there's no way to export the screenshots in any way.

App crashes when trying to delete an item (.png) from a screenshot screen. The image item is not deleted, still there after restart of app. Screenshot with image file in question attached.

Hi, When you click on the export button, the generated screenshots get their opacity reduced, making the screenshots appear "brighter" than they should be. For example, look at the original images in the background and look at the generated images in the foreground. The foreground images are a lot lighter/brighter than the images in the background. This bug seems to have started occurring recently, since this wasn't broken probably 2 weeks ago when I last used this.

When creating a new screenshot it uses the yellow background color instead of ones from the previous screenshot. If there would be more templates this could also fix it

When I export for iPhone 6.9 inch, the dimensions are not exporting correctly. Earlier it used to work properly. I'm getting the error below now. Screenshots dimensions should be: 1320 × 2868px, 2868 × 1320px, 1290 × 2796px or 2796 × 1290px

The Performance is not that great. Using MacBook Air M3 with 24GB Ram. Drag & Drop is not really usable and App crashes randomly. Overall CPU is above 10% when idle and if i use the app its above 30%. Drag & Drop above 80%. Maybe there is a way to support multiple cores or GPU. If you need more infos or logs from crashes please contact me.

Previously the app would export screenshots at 1290 × 2796 pixels which was perfect. In recent version it is exporting at 2580 × 5592 pixels which the App Store does not support. Resizing images is busy work and this app needs to reduce the busy work to be useful. Please fix.

Currently reordering is only possible via context menu.

Hi, after I hit export for filesystem to generate images, some of the resulting screenshots look distorted, grayscale, and have vertical lines

Would be great if in the "default view" all devices would be shown below each other. This would simplify to ensure that all view are the same on all device sizes (like texts, alignement etc)

When trying to export getting error "The file S7 - 1.png doesn't exist.

If you select a `Blur` as device frame type it is exported as solid dark gray

Images are being exported as double the size, which causes issues for App Store Connect

My screenshot look amazing but when i export them the height and width is 2 times too big, and the colors aren't always exactly the same as requested !

Exporting assets from Picasso (v3.2) on MacOS 26 Tahoe results in completely unusable assets with double the pixel dimensions (at 72 pixels/inch) than expected by App Store Connect. ASC does not accept those assets at all! See attached screenshot of the original and the Picasso export, including dimensions. In addition the Picasso exported assets are faded which renders them again, useless. See attached screenshot. We need a fix urgently! Thanks, Klaus.

In version 1.4.2, some devices are seeing a crash when creating a new document.

Eg type to search or jump to font

I'm using the basic template and when I try to edit the text of the 4th image in it, when I click the text to change it, it takes me back to the 2nd image in the list immediately instead. I managed once to edit the text but I have not been able to do so again. The same happens for the iPad set. It's almost like it thinks both images are the 'same' (not sure if it's a coincidence the one it takes me back to uses the exact same layout - text on bottom, image on top).

Before it was exported with transparent background png files, now it's un-usable with black background .

Instead of always exporting all, allow exporting a subset.

While deleting the old screenshots before uploading new ones on AppStore Connect, the text has a spelling mistake.

Export screenshot does weird shadows on magnifying glass effect

Sometimes the AsyncImage fails to load screenshots currently in the App Store. Add a button to retry the download.

According to the apple docs (https://developer.apple.com/help/app-store-connect/reference/screenshot-specifications/) the 6.5" is no longer required and per default 6.7" will be used. Would be great if 6.5" could be deleted.

It seems that the different device sizes do not contain the correct "devices" in at least one template. Adding a 5.8" just adds a preview of an iphone 15 pro. Manually adjusting this is cumbersome.

This will allow people to track updates to tickets they requested. Name and email will be optional of course.

Hi there, is it possible to show an Apple Watch showing my app in an iPhone Screenshot. If not: please consider this as a feature request

The continue button is disabled. There are no error messages, tooltips or anything to indicate to me why this isn't working.

Clicking delete on a frame of a variant causes the app to crash.

I've just installed the version 3.3 from App Store and it crash every time.

as shown, when editing, the 2 screeenshots with white background looks fine. However, when exporting, it has a layer of grey overlay on top of certain areas.

The wrong iPad screen size was used when uploading to App Store Connect. This is related to the screenshot sharing between those two screenshot groups.

Picasso should be able to create AB tests for screenshots straight from the app. This will also be facilitated by direct to App Store Connect upload.

The template picker screen isn't showing templates for iPads properly.

One failed request when fetching apps causes the whole request to fail. Error handling should be improved here.

I though maybe I had some unsaved changes, but the same alert is shown even when there's no changes to the file. And ofc. pressing "Duplicate" will break the screenshots.

I am having issues uploading images to the app store. Unfortunately I don't understand what the error is, so a screenshot has been attached.

Another error I'm getting when trying to upload images to the play store.

When starting a new project using the template button on the landing screen, then canceling the form, the new project button remains disabled and the progress view animates indefinitely.

It fails saying that it can't reorder them

Hi, I love Picasso, but I can't continue to use it and pay for it if I can't export my screenshots. As you can see in the attached screenshots, several of my App Store previews are distorted and grayed out whenever I try to export them. They are getting squeezed, and all the color is missing. Please help me fix this, so I can continue to use Picasso and launch my apps on the App Store.

Exports Iphone 6.9 display as "2580 × 5592" instead of "1290 x 2796px"

I have an iPad, but when I use Picasso, I get transported to my Files app. How do I take a screenshot with my iPad using Picasso? How do I take a screenshot with my iPhone using Picasso? Thank you.

There is a problem when editing a screenshot. When I click on the text it takes me to a previous screenshot.

I'm encountering an error when trying to add an iPad template on macOS.

Lovely app! But I'm encountering issues on export. For me when I try selecting the device template as MacOS -> Export to Filesystem, I'm getting a black PNG as a result.

Try to upload to experimental page in appstore. upload looks ok but at the very end i get the message below. if i check in appstores experimental page, not all screens properly uploaded. some missing. will try second batch, because this was working in an older version without issues. not sure you can change the request rate, or do larger "wait" after each langauge.

There is a new issue uploading screenshots to experimental page. Create new Experimental page in AppstoreRemove all images for all languages.Upload Experimental via picassoError while uploading Tested all options in picasso "delete screenshots, location matching" nothing helps.

Random error. Frustrating, since this was working in older versions...

Uploading a large number of screenshots (1014 in my case) fails very frequently. The feature to disable deleting already uploaded screenshots doesn't work - all screenshots are always deleted on upload. This makes batching upload impossible.

api to appstore not working

Hi, I am using the Pro version of Picasso and every time I try to arrange the images, and e.g. send them to the back the app crashes. I thought of just deleting the back image and add it again so it appears on top, but then the app also crashes with every delete. It is super annoying and I cannot use the App!

I just updated the App and now I cannot use it anymore as it always crashes directly on start of the app. I am using the Pro version.

The latest macOS update v3.3 is completely broken. Attempting to open it results in an immediate crash. Reinstalling did not fix it either.

For the edit screen I miss an snapping alignment guide (like Figma, Canva ...) that allows me to drop a specific item at the center or align with other items. Here is a screenshot of Affinity designer.

I see you just added alignment guides. But it's causing me to not be able to move my image on the App Store screenshot to the position I want it to be in. It keeps snapping to the middle of the screen. No matter what I set the Alignment option to. In my attached image, I want the Mac to move down a few pixels. But I can't do it. It goes too far and when I try to bring it back up, it snaps to the position in the screenshot. There's no "None" option for Alignment to turn off the snapping guides.

All my alignment is now not correct after the recent update. The shadows behind the devices are baked into the background, but now because the device can no longer be resized to the exact size it was before, the text is overlapping the device and the device is in the wrong spot for the background shadow. See attached screenshots.

I was done with all the screenshots and my client asked me to use a different font. Then I had to manually change the font on every slice. I believe most projects use a single global font anyway. Same I would like to have for the background, so I can change the background globally. Thank you.

The second screen (right) features a device frame belonging to the first screen. In the second screen portion of such frame a wrong opacity value is applied. Opacity in that area is < 1 and so the image below is visible. I have a feeling the shown opacity is the same as the iahe below (0.3).

As of 2.2.1 I'm still encountering an issue where adjusting the scale of a bezel+screenshot on one page ends up doing nothing on that page, but scales a different image instead. No idea how to workaround it either (it persists through a restart)

If someone selects a transparent background color for a screenshot, there should be a solid white color behind in order to avoid creating images with transparency.

New device bezels!

Image Size is 410 to 502. The Background color is visible inside the frame. I tested with PNG and JPG but it looks like there is some pixel mismatch.

Maybe there should be a "quick switch" for langauges i can easy access. maybe below the label "Prepare submission" in the icon section.

Hi I noticed that when Picasso is on a big screen full window the edit screen doesn’t make use of the room. This is especially annoying while editing Mac screenshots. Is this a bug or by design?

When exporting screenshots to ASC a different background color is exported. Note in the past it was the wrong color by choice. I changed it

There is still an issue with uploading experimental screenshots. I'm trying to "Link App" with a new document to one of my app store apps - i have 6 different apps in the app store, but only one is showing up in the list. Any idea what the criteria are to show things here? All of my apps should be universal, are either in Ready for Distribution or Prepare for Submission. I can't really fathom why the one that is showing is, and its not the one I actually want to use your app with so i'm kinda stuck. Thanks!

Folder Screenshot can be overwritten without any warning.

Both for file export and upload to AppStoreConnect, some images look corrupted, see attachment. I wanted to also attach screenshot that produces issue and one that doesn't, but can upload only one file for the ticket.

Exported Screenshot should be prefixed with number from 1 to x, since the order should reflect the order in picasso. if i drag and drop screenshots manually to appstore connect, the order is not same as in picasso. if picasso exports images with a number as prefix e.g. 1 to 10, also appsstore will import based on the files prefix.

I am trying to upload 39 languages, for 4 devices. And it just keep failing or hitting the rate limit. Then I have to start all over again. Would be possible to upload them in a batch or to spread them out in time. As well, a way to continue the process from where it failed would be fantastical.

Upload not possible, not sure why

The option should be refined, since any upload will delete all screenshots for all languages anyways right now. lets say i have 10 languages setup in ASC. all screenshots in place for all 10 languages. now i just want replace screenshots for 1 language set, lets say GERMAN. in this case i will not activate the toggle to make sure no screenshots is deleted in ASC. Next i will just select GERMAN screenshots in the filter selection and do the upload. Since toggle is not active, no screenshots should be deleted and just the selected/filtered screenshot should be uploaded. right now all screenshots will be lost, and GERMAN is in place only.

We wait now months for a new release. Please release asap, because we're blocked right now. Do not ship all in one, ship parts, small increments of the software. It's a big mistake to ship all in one batch and hope this fixes everything. Apple approval is about 1 or 2 days max. Stick to a goal, fix, release, repeat!

happens in Macos 15.5 (24F74)

Every time I use any action from context menu, like delete, arrange, anything crashes the app and all my progress are gone = =

Followed all instructions to create an API with permission and enter information, upload .p8 file etc but it won't connect. Tried several times, but the error message doesn't shed any light on what the problem is.

I am also having the same issue, the export is broken and the screenshot sized are incorrect. I am using version 3.4(495) This was marked done, but it's not working... what should we do?

The iPhone Air screenshots are 1260 × 2736 pixels but the air requires 1260x2740.
